China Cancels Export VAT Rebates on Insulation Materials – Prices to Rise After April 1, 2026

In a significant shift for the global construction and industrial materials market, China’s Ministry of Finance and State Taxation Administration have confirmed the removal of the export Value-Added Tax (VAT) rebate policy for several categories of insulation materials. The change will take effect on April 1, 2026.

This policy revision means that exports of calcium silicate, ceramic fiber, expanded perlite, and related insulation products shipped on or after April 1, 2026, will no longer benefit from the current VAT rebate, which typically ranges between 9% and 13%. Then surya company will increase price at last 9%.
